Victoria, the "City of Gardens", is an intimate, sophisticated seaside City serving as the vacation capital of Canada and one of the premiere tourist spots in the Pacific Northwest. Victoria is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island where it sparkles in one of Canada's mildest climates. Visitors usually drive from Bainbridge Island to Port Angeles (a little under two hours) to catch the popular Coho Ferry to Victoria. The Coho, which operates seasonally, takes about an hour and a half to sail to Vistoria. Visitors should plan ahead before making their journey. |
